So brings to a close the 4 week walk we've been on together. Thanks to all who have walked this part of my journey with me. While I do not claim to have all of the answers, I am thankful that I know The One who does; not just know of Him but a deep, intimate knowing that has forever changed the essence of my being.

I will leave this blog open and up for the foreseeable future for personal reference and as a potential encouragement to anyone who might intentionally find or perhaps stumble across it. Thanks for adding value into my life.

Saturday's Post

Crash The Future & Warriors of Light

"...rhinos can run thirty miles an hour, which is pretty fast when you consider how much weight they're pulling...rhinos can see only thrity feet in front of them."

Do the math!...and pity whatever stands at thirty-one feet in front of the rhino.

"The church becomes a crash. We become an unstoppable force. We don't have to pretend we know the future. Who cares that we can see only thrity feet ahead? Whatever's at thirty-one feet needs to care that we're coming and better get out of the way."

"Like Israel, who longed for Egypt because the journey was more difficult than the people expected, we must be aware of the temptation to return to the captivity from which we were freed. There is but one path to freedom. There is no easy road made available."

Ok, here's the deal...

I have a trip to accompany some student leaders to a leadership weekend and will be leaving directly from work and won't be back on home turf til late Saturday afternoon, early evening. So, I'm giong to finish off my posts for TBW right now. Feel free to comment on the appropriate day.

Thanks again for taking this part of the journey with me!

Primal Attire & When Tigers Unite

LOL..."primal attire"...I don't know how I missed this last time through!!!

"I will celebrate before the Lord. I will become even more undignified than this, I will be humiliated in my own eyes." (2 Samuel 6:21-22)

"...we need to find the courage and freedom to be ourselves."

"The barbarian hides nothing before God, and his tribe battles naked and unashamed."

"Although the force of one person fully committed to God is tremendous, it pales in comparison to the force of God's people moving together."

"Jesus description that "the kingdom of heaven is forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it." (Matthew 11:12) is a call for tigers to move together, not for our untamed faith to be domesticated."

Knights In Darkness & HALO Effect

"When you enter the kingdom of God, there is no safe zone or waiting room. There really isn't even a boot camp. It's on-the-job, on-the-field training."

"The barbarian revolt is an insurrection that defies the treaty between civilization and the powers of the dark world."

Paul wrote, "For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)

"for the sake of others, they [barbarians] are willing to risk their own lives and thrust themselves into the midst of peril."

**I have no quotes to pull from the HALO section. It's all realy good. I'm wondering what your thoughts are specific to that section? Let me hear them.

Behind Enemy Lines

"You must be born again...born from above."

"When we are born again, we are dropped not into a maternity ward, but into a war zone. Our birthplace is less mother's womb and more battlefield earth. Maybe the first word we hear should not be "welcome," but "jump." There is no trial run, no practice life."
